With his glory days as a rodeo star now far behind him after a severe back injury, Mike Milo, now a defeated loner who breeds and trains horses, is entrusted with a mission a priori impossible: to bring his boss's troubled thirteen-year-old son back home from Mexico. However, on their long journey to Texas, Mike will have to face the dangerous Mexican underworld, corrupt police officers, and above all, his past.
